Members Services

The Otaki Community Club offers high-quality facilities and services to relax, enjoy the company of other members and friends, and to become part of a vibrant Club.

Membership is open to all the Community, and we are proud to maintain strong links with the RSA and to honour and support our service people, and their families.

Clubrooms and facilities

The Otaki Community & RSA Clubrooms in Raukawa street, are centrally located.

The rooms feature a lounge and bar, restaurant, gaming room, sports area, and meeting rooms.

Our large screen TV - 85" Sony Bravia - was sponsored for us in 2021

In 2019 an outside garden patio was established to commemorate the centenary of the club.

Parking is available, and access is provided for those with disabilities.

Bar

The full service bar is available when the club is open. It is staffed with professional bar staff and offers a wide range of alcoholic drinks, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Coffee and bar food is available.

Members receive a discount if they produce their membership card.

Gaming Lounge

The club operates 18 gaming machines and a Jackpot in a lounge near the entrance. The proceeds from these machines are used to provide facilities for the members of the club, and also support donations to the local community.

Entertainment

Free live entertainment every second Friday. Special events at regular intervals during the year

Shuttle Service

A Shuttle Service is available for members to and from the RSA premises. It also runs to assist members with medical and other welfare or similar support appointments.
The shuttle is not intended as a replacement for taxi or public shuttle services.
While no direct charge is made, members who use this service are encouraged to make a reasonable donation to cover the costs.

Snooker and 8 Ball Pool

We have 6 snooker tables, which have been refurbished and maintained to a very high standard. A small charge is made for the lights over the snooker tables which helps to offset the maintenance of the tables.

Two 8 ball pool tables are also available.

To make sure that the tables are kept in "tip-top condition" we have a restriction that no one under 16 years of age can use them, without the direct supervision of a member.
